It is made from 1 inch diameter aluminum tubing with nylon fittings. The fabric is a top tier marine grade polyester canvas. It is the same material we make our boat covers from, and it is engineered to last. That is how we, with confidence, offer a lifetime warranty. The material is woven from engineered polyester thread, then polyurethaned, waterproofed, and sealed. If you don’t love it, return it, on us. If you keep it, enjoy a lifetime warranty, on us. The assembled product is 36” wide, so it fits comfortably between mount points of 30” and 42”, and super well between 32” and 40”. It is 39 inches tall, and 5 feet long. The first time, or original installation is very easy. It comes with all hardware. Then, it is super easy to remove or reinstall as you need it, depending on weather conditions, sun, rain, your personal preference, etc. This item for sale is the complete sun shade kit, including the canopy, 2 sets of side curtains, frame, and hardware kit. The short curtains have loops, and the long curtains have straps that are easily removable, if you do not need them for your application. The canoe is not included.
